Sugarcane
Sugarcane scientific name is Saccharum Officinarum from Family
Gramineae. Normally, it is chewed to extracted the juice or extracted
from machine to get a juice. Most planted variety is yellow sugarcane.
The plant is growing fast and harvested 9 or 10 months after planted.
The stem long between 1 to 3 meters with diameter 2 to 4cm. the stem is
in greenish to yellowish depend to the variety. The sugarcane contained
of water and solid flesh where consist of 70 to 90% sugars, 4 to 7%
salts.
